Free food from an old friend

I caught up today with an old friend of mine Tam, although she is not old at all, but we have known each other for over ten years now. It was lovely to see her and her beautiful daughter Cosette who everytime I see her seems to have doubled in size. Tam is off to New Zealand for another adventure with her husband Andrew. I hope everything turns out great for them during the twelve months that they are across the ditch. I will miss Tam while she is away, but hopefully will make it over to visit them in Christchurch. Anyway Tam was clearing out her pantry before she left and gave me a whole bunch of non-perishable foodstuffs, which for me at the moment is better than Christmas! In terms of me being a poor student trying to finish my thesis with ever dwindling savings. It made me think that things have a way of working out when you need them to. Could not have been better timing. Thanks Tam!
